Jane Street’s Electronic Trading Challenge (ETC) is coming to Seoul, South Korea!

Jane Street is hosting our Electronic Trading Challenge (ETC), a day-long programming contest where participants compete for cash prizes in a simulated market scenario. If you like solving problems, working on a team and want to take on a challenge with your classmates and friends, this is an event for you!

At Jane Street, programming is an integral part of how we approach problems — whether we’re designing a trading strategy, managing the operational complexities of a new trade-flow, or administering servers in locations across the globe.

ETC provides an excellent opportunity to put your programming skills to the test and learn and collaborate alongside other like-minded students.

When: Saturday, 9 May, 9:00am - 6:00pm KST

Who: Penultimate or pre-penultimate year university students studying in Seoul

Where: Seoul CBD - details TBA to the selected teams prior to the event

Each member of the winning team will receive KRW 1,400,000

You must sign up as a team of two or three participants. All teammates must be present at the event check-in in order to be eligible for prizes. Unfortunately, we are not accepting single participant registrations.
